Our policy is written on the basis of an all risks form with various limitations and exclusions.
The policy will extend cover to machinery whether it is at work or rest.
Subject to the sum insured being properly maintained we will pay the full cost of repair and replacement including extra expenses such as the cost of dismantling to clean or overhaul and re-erection.
We will also pay the full costs and taxes of freight and transit to and from workshops.
Should repairs be carried out at the insured’s own workshops we will then pay the costs of materials, increased wages and agreed overhead charges.
In the event multiple items are lost or damaged in one occurrence we will only charge one deductible (usually the higher).
Subject to external data media being scheduled on the policy cover can be extended to include the cost to the insured in replacing it
