Coverage Highlights

Our policy is written on the basis of an all risks form with various limitations and exclusions
The policy will extend cover to machinery whether it is at work or rest.
Subject to the sum insured being properly maintained, we will pay the full cost of repair and replacement including extra expenses such as the cost of dismantling to clean or overhaul and re-erection.
We will also pay the full costs and taxes of freight and transit to and from workshops.
Should repairs be carried out at the insured’s own workshops we will then pay the costs of materials, increased wages and agreed overhead charges.
In the event multiple items are lost or damaged in one occurrence we will only charge one deductible (usually the higher).
We want to get your machinery up and running as soon as possible so to avoid further damage we will pay the cost of any provisional repairs as long as they will ultimately form part of the overall repair.
Subject to certain terms and conditions we can cover underground machinery and equipment.
Cover can be extended for insured items requiring inland transit.
We are able to cover all mobile and static equipment associated with the construction industry from Bulldozers and excavators to generators and pumps and from manual hoists to tower cranes
